CrossFit Lincoln is a private, bare bones, training and fitness facility. Every time you come in the gym you will be coached. Unlike most gyms in Lincoln, we require that you work with a personal trainer. We believe that quality coaching gets better results and prevents injury. We offer personal training, group training, and open gym times. Our goal is to deliver the personal attention of a private training session within the group environment. Joining one of our classes has many benefits, including camaraderie, support, motivation, and accountability. You are more likely to achieve the results you desire, and less likely to miss training days, when others are counting on you. Mission Statement We, CrossFit Lincoln, are solely dedicated to the health, fitness and positive impact of all athletes we interact with. It is to our highest standard that we improve our client’s quality of life by integrating a lifestyle of setting goals and achieving them. We specialize in constructing an environment that gives people the opportunity to improve their physical and mental abilities. The aim of CrossFit Lincoln is to forge a broad, general and inclusive fitness. We take great pride in being part of the CrossFit community and will constantly evaluate ourselves to improve all areas of our organization. Getting Started 1. Join us for a free workout every Saturday at 9am. Experience the CrossFit atmosphere and camaraderie. 2. Complete the CrossFit 101 classes. These classes are taught by a certified coach and teach you the basic movements and elements of CrossFit. 3. Join our group classes with a membership option or continue with personal training. World-Class Fitness in 100 words: Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense.
