Welcome to Spit N' Image Photography! The goal for Spit N' Image Photography is to capture the essence of the people that are being photographed - to capture the smiles and real life moments. Your sessions with me will be fun, relaxing, and comfortable. The location of choice is completely up to you! Sessions are available at my studio or any outdoor location. I began my career as a professional photographer in the year 2001. Photography wasn't something I had originally set out for; instead, it came to me. I'm not one to believe that someone can be born a photographer but, rather, it is an art inside many that needs to be expressed. My mother was an artist so I can give her the credit for the creative inspiration that birthed within me. I would consider myself having a unique style that was molded from a range of artistic and photographic experience through my years. There is no doubt that I love what I do. Many hours are spent refining, perfecting and at times viewing my work - it is my true passion. I am a member of PPA (Professional Photographers of America) and PPIOWA (Professional Photographers of Iowa). I have attended numerous photography seminars, classes, and education functions to keep up with the changing world of photography. I specialize in baby, children and graduating senior photography. I, too, photograph families, individual portraits and weddings. Photography itself is a creative expression that is influenced by what I see around me combined with how it makes me feel.
