I've almost never been as unhappy with the food quality and atmosphere of a restaurant as I was at Gil's in San Angelo. The inside of the restaurant was old and outdated, and there was no music playing in the background, which made it extremely quiet and creepy inside. The waitstaff was quite friendly however, which was nice. When our food arrived, it was typical, canned beans & rice with the food covered in the canned brown sauce. I had a brisket taco which was so tasteless that I could not eat more than 3 bites. And I'll eat anything! When we got our b
