At Dance Arts, we are dedicated to bringing the most professional, well-rounded instruction in dance to each student, regardless of age or ability level. We offer classes in ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop and more - for ages 3 to adult. Our beautiful new studio is unique and offers a fun, inspirational learning environment for our dancers! Located in historic University Place, Dance Arts is proud to be part of a charming local business community. Our Classes Creative Movement (45 minutes)                                 Preschool-age students learn basic level ballet technique and have fun with props, while using their imaginations incorporating movement to music. Ballet – Tap Combo (45 minutes)                 The next step after Creative Movement. Students learn basic ballet and tap technique. Ballet (45 min., 60 min., 90 min.) & Pointe* (90 minutes) Balanchine-based technique for students ages 6 and up. *Pointe: Minimum age of 12 and instructor’s permission required. Jazz/Hip hop (45 min., 60 min.) Students learn Giordano - based Jazz dance techniques as well as popular Hip hop styles. Tap (45 minutes)                                                                Students learn fundamental tap technique in traditional and contemporary styles for ages 6 and up. Boyz Club Jazz/Hip hop (60 minutes)                                            The boys rule the floor, from “old school” to modern-day hip hop, tricks & stunts. Adult Jazz/*FlexTone (60 minutes) (*Exclusive to  Dance Arts) Have fun learning Jazz technique and fun choreography to popular music, all while getting a truly unique workout! All ability levels welcome!
