Sensi Van Denover has been a positive influence in my son's life. His method of teaching and mentoring adds to the experience of learning martial arts. Starting at age 7, my son not only learned the discipline of martial arts, but also fell in love with the Japanese language, eventually going to Japan with his Sensi. Sensi himself continues to add to his personal knowledge of the art, thus expanding the types of martial arts available to learn at his dojo. Based on our experience of the last 14 years, I would definitely recommend Rising Sun Karate to everyone.
