In the market for rugs for a client, I popped in this store while in the neighborhood on a Sunday afternoon, dressed down. Upon opening the front door, I was immediately %u201Cgreeted%u201D by the house poodle/doorperson barking wildly. Although I wasn%u2019t bitten, I was jumped on as I tried clearing the threshold, all the while with the crazed barking. I just stood there scared and trapped in the doorway waiting to be rescued. After about a minute or so, a man strolls by and gives a lazy command, all in stride, ignoring me and having no effect on the dog.
