At this new KOA in a quiet country setting (yet less than a half mile from I-75), you can camp along the lakeshore at Lake Panasoffkee. The campground's boat ramp, dock and two bathhouses make it easy to take advantage of fishing and other fun on the water. Don't have your own boat? No problem. Cast off on one of the campground's canoes or sign on with a local boat operator for a wild ride on an airboat. Bird-watching is great, and turtles and gators cruise these waters too. Campground activities include horseshoes, shuffleboard and Wiffle golf. Enjoy the pool, a game room and a recreation hall that's ideal for family reunions and other groups. There are plenty of nearby attractions, including the Glades Herp Farm, weekly flea markets and music jams at Catfish Johnny's.
