Eddie, the local bald eagle, often soars overhead here, and that's just one of the unexpected delights at this new KOA tucked in the Piney Woods region of East Texas. The campground wraps along the shore of Lake Livingston, the second largest lake in the state. It's an ideal resort setting for boating, swimming, fishing for bass and catfish, and relaxing by the lake-perhaps even enjoying one of the premium lakefront RV sites. Lakefront amenities include a marina, complete with three ramps, covered slips, transient docks, a fishing pier and a swimming pool. Just steps away, Bubba's Bar & Grill is ready to serve succulent Texas steaks and fresh Gulf seafood as well as host group gatherings. Everyone is welcome to join in weekend bonfires and holiday celebrations. The campground is a great place to view the area's splendid sunsets. You'll also find good golfing nearby.
