Arthur, Illinois is a small, peaceful, mid-western village in east Central Illinois located in the heart of the Illinois Amish Country, having the oldest and largest Amish settlement in the state surrounding it with some 4,000 individuals as a part of that faith and culture.Eberhardt Senior Community is located on a 27 acre campus at the southwest edge of Arthur, Illinois. It includes Eberhardt Village, Inc., a beautiful assisted living facility serving senior adults since 2008, and The Arthur Home, providing skilled and rehabilitation services since 1959. Eberhardt Village is a 34-suite facility consisting of 14 studios, 15 one-bedrooms, 5 two- bedroom apartments. A hospitality suite is also available for out-of-town visitors. There are trained staff members on duty 24 hours per day. Residents at Eberhardt Village enjoy delicious buffet style meals served in an elegant restaurant-style setting. Other services and amenities offered include housekeeping and laundry services, free cable television and wireless internet services, complimentary use of washers and dryers, emergency response system, medication assistance, transportation services, and a complete calendar of recreational and social activities. Certified by both Medicare and Medicaid, the Arthur Home offers an excellent rehabilitation program called "Rebound!" In partnership with ONR, (Occupational and Neurological Rehabilitation), we offer excellent therapists using state-of-the-art therapy equipment to help folks "Rebound" to home as soon as possible! The Arthur Home also offers an excellent activity program, delicious buffet-style meals, and outstanding nursing care. Transportation services are also available to help take residents to and from medical appointments. At The Arthur Home, we're "neighbors helping neighbors."
