We specialize in the service and repair of Audi, Mercedes Benz, BMW, Land Rover, Volkswagon, Mini, and Volvo. These are the only makes of vehicles we work on. The Black Forest has been in business in Auburn California since 1981. Paul & Sherry Gilbert moved here in the summer of '81' to raise their two sons in the best environment they could find. Paul, Sherry and Son Jason manage our shop. Enjoying a wonderful life here in Auburn, Paul & Sherry are actively involved in our local community. We are recent graduates of "Leadership Auburn". Sherry is a past president of the Auburn Area Chamber of Commerce. Thanks to our son Jason, our service facility has become the most progressive shop in the local area in keeping up with the technical advances of today's complex automobiles. We have the equipment to support all of the computer diagnostics of the makes and models we service. We often have referrals from local Sacramento Volvo, BMW Dealers as they know we are the only shop in the area with the knowledge and equipment to service the later models. It's interesting how often we are taught that business isn't personal. For some people we suppose that's true. But when you are in business providing something other than a product (a service) it becomes very personal. Business is about people. A service succeeds when it makes significant numbers of people feel their lives are somehow better than they would have been without that service. In meeting that need, we succeed not in just making money, but experiencing a tremendous amount of satisfaction that comes in serving someone other than ourselves.
