Glassworks was founded in 2002 by Gene (me) and Trish Jordan, after both of us had worked for several years in the auto glass industry for competing corporations.Once we realized that we no longer were satisfied with the way our companies did business, we decided that it was time for our chance at "The American Dream".So, with our entire savings and our 1 year old daughter Tori to help run things, we opened our own glass shop.In the beginning, things were scary and there were either slow days or long nights.Eventually though, people started to notice us and our business and workmanship ethics.As time went on, we soon found ourselves with the need for more vans, more employees and a new building.So, with the help of our second daughter Lizzie and our dog Boba, we have grown to our current state as the largest glass shop in our area.Looking back, we never dreamed that our success would be this rewarding or that we have made such great friends in our community.What does the future hold?We have plans to open other locations.So that others in our industry who are tired of the corporate style of doing business, may join us in doing business in a way that has given us our current success.
