Welcome to Woodland Childcare! Woodland Child Development Center is located in Hammond, Indiana and serves all of Lake County and northwest Indiana. This child care development center is a not for profit learning environment and has over 37 years of experience. We address the development of the whole child social emotional, physical, cognitive and language development. We take the time to create a creative curriculum for the children that they will all benefit from. The staff of teacher developers and the facility is state licensed and N.A.E.Y.C. accredited. We know and understand how difficult it can be to find a trusted child day care service, thus you child is always cared for in the manner you see fit. Also we follow any instructions provided by you for the proper care of your child. Woodland is open all year and only closed on seven major holidays. We provide service for infant 12 weeks of age through 6 years during the social school year. Children seven to twelve years of age, we provide a summer camp program.
