GJCF Daycare: GJCF Daycare is purposed as a place where young children learn as they experiment with materials, share experiences, and participate in an organized curriculum for Christian Development. The center has been licensed since 1994 by the Department of Public Welfare. The staff has training, education and experience in early childhood, CPR certification, and state clearances all of which are mandated by the Department of Public Welfare. The staff to child ratio is maintained at or above the levels required by the State Licensing Agency. Our Daycare is in operation Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Greater Johnson town Christian Academy Our Academy's mission is to work with families in bringing their children to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, educating them for a life of service to Christ in a contemporary society. GJCF Preschool: The preschool provides a Christ-centered atmosphere that encourages social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual growth and development of the child as a whole. The preschool program utilizes the A Beka curriculum. Our daily schedule includes sharing and conversation time, stories, songs and finger plays, creative art activities, games and large muscle activities, Bible time and prayer, field trips throughout the community, food preparation, science activities, exposure to shapes, colors, numbers, letters, simple Spanish and sign language, and the celebration of birthdays and holidays.
