For more than 100 years, the American Cancer Society (ACS) has worked relentlessly to save lives and create a world with less cancer and more birthdays. Together with millions of our supporters worldwide, we help people stay well, help people get well, find cures, and fight back against cancer. Your local ACS office is your source for the most relevant information to help guide you. Appointments are needed for all services to ensure we have the right people available to meet your needs. ACS is the leader in the fight to end breast cancer. We're in every community providing free information and services to people fighting the disease. Over the past 20 years, we have helped more than 4 million women get potentially lifesaving breast cancer screening tests. Today, one in every two women newly diagnosed with breast cancer turns to us for help and support. Making Strides Against Breast Cancer (MSABC) events are an incredible and inspiring opportunity to unite as a community to honor breast cancer survivors, raise awareness about what we can do to reduce our breast cancer risk, and raise money to help ACS fight the disease with breast cancer research, information and services, and access to mammograms for women who need them. Relay For Life is a life-changing event that gives everyone in communities across the globe a chance to Celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, Remember loved ones lost, and Fight Back against cancer. Each year, more than 4 million people in over 20 countries take part in this global phenomenon and raise much-needed funds and awareness to save lives from cancer.
