We are dedicated to teaching children values such as respect of self and others, honesty, forgiveness, and an appreciation for learning in order to foster character development and a positive self-esteem, and to enhance their overall social, emotional, and cognitive development. We view each child as a unique and special person with his or her own pattern and timing of growth. As caregivers we are devoted to providing a wealth of opportunities for discoveries, stimulating experiences, problem solving, and accomplishments. Our philosophy is based on the belief that all areas of a child's development (social, emotional, physical, and cognitive) are integrated. We believe that optimal development in all areas is derived from a positive, supportive, and individualized relationship with adults. Our curriculum encourages children to be actively involved in the learning process, to experience a variety of developmentally appropriate activities and learning materials, and to pursue their own interests as unique individuals in their community and in their world.
