We listen to infants by interpreting their cries, demeanor, physical look and moods. Our focus is on timely fulfilling an infant’s needs (such as feeding, diapering and napping) and providing stimulating activities which are appropriate at each infant’s developmental stage. Toddler (1 to 2 years old): When a child starts walking, she/he achieves an important milestone. She/he can now explore the world around her/him, and experience new activities. The toddler learns through exploration and play. As the toddler develops, she/he strives for independence and self-esteem. Our aim with this age group is to foster this development. Our focus is on providing stimulating activities and positive experiences in a safe and loving home environment. Teacher-Child Ratio Our Teacher-Child ratio is 1 : 6 at maximum. Daily Schedule For infants, we follow individualized schedule in accordance with his/her needs. For toddlers, we follow the schedule below: 7:30 ~ 8:00 Arrival. Activities We provide infants with age-appropriate toys to touch, feel and explore. We provide safe environment to develop motor skills. We expose them to older children’s activities, and they learn through observation. Toddlers’ activities are largely free play, as exploratory play is most appropriate for this age group. We offer age-appropriate toys and books in several indoor play areas, including block area, reading area, and kitchen toy area. We also offer safe play equipment in outdoor areas, including woodchip area, grass area, and sand box area. As they develop, they are introduced to circle time and group activities.
