Jamila's American Cabaret Dance training began seven years ago, with private lessons and workshops with award winning dancers. A variety of props are used when performing to captivate any audience with the essence of this exotic art. Such as Veils, Candles, Canes and Swords. Zills (finger cymbals) add old world depth to the dance. Jamila invites you to be swept away to another, mysterious world through the movements of belly dance. Winner of the Queen of Raks Sharki 2006 troupe competition. Jamila performs often for private functions, weddings and cultural events.
