Dr. Martin grew up in Cumberland County and after graduating from chiropractic college decided to return here to open her practice. She opened Back to Chiropractic Center in 1997 and the office has continued to grow every year. Dr. Martin, while being knowledgable in her field, will take time to explain everything to you in plain language which is easy to understand. We are never too busy to answer any questions you may have. Dr. Martin, being a woman, can provide a level of comfort and security to her female patients that may be difficult to attain with a male chiropractor, especially due to the hands on nature of chiropractic treatment. Being one of the few female chiropractors in our community, Dr. Martin is uniquely equipped to respond to the special needs of women. We run a freindly, family oriented practice and will assist you in any way we can. We treat people of all ages, including children. The center is fully equipped with three adjusting rooms which feature three different types of chiropractic tables. This allows Dr. Martin to use a variety of techniques in order to find the technique best suited for your particular condition. Emergency appointments are available on the same day, and other appointments can usually be scheduled within a day or two. We have x-ray facilities in our office and if x-rays are necessary we can do them during your initial visit (with insurance authorization). We also accept assignment from your insurance. This means that your insurance can pay us directly instead of you having to pay up front and then waiting for the insurance company to reimburse you. No hassles for you, all you have to pay is your co-pay. We are preferred participating providers with most of the major insurance companies in this area, just to name a few: Aetna, Horizon BlueCross BlueSheild, NJ Plus, United, Amerihealth, Horizon NJ Family Care, Americhoice, Medicare, and Medicaid.

Along with diversified technique, we utilize Cox, Gonstead and Activator techniques. We use the FDA approved cold laser therapy(LLLT) for the treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome and arthritis of the hands and feet. Our therapy bay includes various therapies such as interferential electro-muscle stimulation, pulsed and continuous ultrasound, light/laser therapy and dry hydrotherapy. In addition to these services we also offer Spinal Decompression Therapy which is highly effective in reducing the pain associated with disc herniations, spinal degeneration, sciatica, facet syndrome and spinal stenosis.
