Welcome to Popowich Chiropractic & Acupuncture Care Center where we have been providing pain relief and wellness care for 20 years. We have helped thousands of patients with conditions from back and neck pain, to headaches, as well as carpal tunnel and other joint-related conditions. Dr. John M. Popowich, DC, QME, DABCN, BCCII, FIAMA, a native of New Jersey, where he grew up and received his pre-chiropractic training as a science major, has been in practice since 1991. He and his family reside in Sandy Hook, CT. He received his chiropractic training in California at Life Chiropractic College-West. After graduation, he established a practice in the San Francisco Bay Area where he practiced for 18 years. In 2000 Dr. Popowich was voted Best Chiropractor in the San Francisco Bay Area. He now has relocated his practice to Newtown, CT. Dr. Popowich is Certified in Acupuncture by the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture and is a fellow of the academy as well. He is also a Board Certified Chiropractic Neurologist, Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner and a Qualified Medical Evaluator.
