Looking for a place of worship that’s warm and friendly? Then come to Abingdon First Church of God. Around these parts our Christian church is known as the Friendly Chapel. Everyone is welcome to join us and have their spiritual needs met. We have Sunday Morning and Evening worship services as well as Bible study at 7:00pm on Thursdays. There are many ministries offered in our Christian church. We have Sunday school not just for children but for senior adults, too. We have a nursery for children under 2 years old and a junior church for ages 3 to 6. For those in need in our community we have a food pantry. We also have a choir that’s always looking for more voices, an active hospital visitation program, visits to the local nursing homes, and a radio program that serves as an outreach to the community.
