Atascocita Animal Hospital provides diagnostic, surgical, medical, dental, x-ray, laboratory, endoscopy and preventative medical services for dogs, cats and other domestic pets. The surgery suites and intensive care units are perhaps the most impressive. Surgery tables have hydraulic lifts and built in heating to keep surgical patients warm. The ICU has automated, sliding glass doors that serve a dial purpose. They protect patients and give them a quiet, comfortable place to recover and they also allow for close visual monitoring by doctors and nursing staff. In 2007, Veterinary Economics voted Atascocita Animal Hospital Hospital of the Year. We are AAHA accredited and are qualified for a backyard habitat designation by the National Wildlife Federation and Texas Parks and Wildlife. The beautiful Texas sandstone faade is complimented by extensive, lush landscaping enhanced with a cascading waterfall and quiet pond. The landscape includes plants that attract wildlife such as hummingbirds and a butterfly garden where up to 25 monarch butterflies have been fluttering at one time. We offer a cat playroom which includes condos for our feline friends who are boarding with us. Each condo has separate compartments and features a loft area where they can see out into a garden with flowers, birds and butterflies. Our canine boarders will feel just as welcome with a spacious outdoor area, runs with individual windows flooding the kennel area with natural light.
