At Arlene's we have over 5000 rental costumes on premise. We carry everything from cavemen to astronauts including a large selection of mascot characters. Our costume have been seen in such movies as The Last Samurai, Gangs of New York, Alexander, Hanna Montana the Movie, Year One, Hidalgo, National Treasure II, and dozens of locally produced on line short films. Our bane costume was chosen by DC Comics at the 2012 New York comic on show to be one of their premier villains for their photo session. All of our rentals come with accessories included at no extra charge. We have costumes for any special occasion, birthday parties, weddings, proms, sweet 16's, renaissance fairs, plays, school book reports, wax museums for school, murder mysteries, theme parties, historical re-enactments, charity events, decade parties and any event that could be made more memorable with authentic and unique costuming. At Arlene's we will beat any competitor’s rental prices on similar costumes by 10%. We also offer flexible rental time terms by letting our customers take their rental costume out on Thursday or Friday and return the rental on Monday. Our rentals for plays are second to none, not only are our costumes unique but our terms are very director friendly. Costumes include all accessories and can be taken prior to tech week and returned after the plays final performance. Another service that we offer our theatrical customers is that up until opening night we will allow our play directors to exchange costumes which are not working for them at any extra charge. Our costumes are all professionally made with hundreds of them being award winners.
