Friendly House is a settlement house founded on the principles of serving the whole family unit and has served the Quad Cities’ community since 1896. Friendly House’s mission is to respond to the needs of families and individuals through programs and services that will enrich their lives and strengthen our neighborhoods. Services include; youth programs, preschool, full day care for children ages 2-12, youth day treatment program, family services (food pantry, emergency services, referrals, educational scholarships, camperships and holiday programs), senior services (arts & crafts, congregate meal site, community outings, educational/nutritional programs, exercise classes), Preschool / Childcare Scholarship Programs, and the Child and Adult Care Food Program.
