The Arizona Recreation Center For the Handicapped is a non profit organization that is dedicated to helping handicapped individuals reach and maintain a high level of fitness, dignity and self-worth. We offer a variety of classes for participants to increase their independence as well as therapeutic recreational opportunities such as dance, swimming, money management, cooking, art, music and much more. Our Nina Mason Pulliam Recreation & Sports Complex is a one of a kind, multi purpose complex that houses a full sized gymnasium, performance stage, fitness center, and track. During vacation, we offer Day Camp activities for handicapped children of working parents. Our mission is to continually and effectively respond to the needs of the handicapped. We recognize that the handicapped community has the same needs, desires and fears as everyone else.
