The Volunteer Center of Camden County is operated by the Union Organization for Social Service.UOSS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization and United Way member agency which has served the needs of Camden County and its communities since 1944. Mission Statement To involve Camden County Residents more effectively in meaningful volunteer service at non- profit agencies in Camden County, while enhancing community resources and empowering members of the community, by providing opportunities to make a significant contribution to the well being of the county. The Volunteer Center of Camden County serves as an advocate for volunteers and catalyst for volunteerism, provides leadership and support for volunteer efforts, and is the central clearinghouse for volunteerism in the community.
