Since 2006, Chabad of Long Island City has been serving the Jewish community in West Queens by offering a welcoming home for those of the Jewish community, regardless of affiliation. By practicing Ahavat Yisrael—the unconditional love of every Jewish person—Rabbi Zev and Rivka Wineberg provide non-judgmental services to families of all levels and backgrounds. From the Chabad Jewish Community Center and Chabad Hebrew School to family activities and adult education opportunities, Chabad of Long Island City has programs that help West Queens residents reach their personal, familial and community goals. This Jewish Community Center prides itself in providing a wide range of constantly developing programs that are shaped by the interests of each and every member. Take a look at what Chabad of Long Island City has to offer: * Synagogue. Chabad of Long Island City offers lively Carlebach-style Friday night services followed by L'Chaim and Kugel. Traditional Saturday services include Dvar Torah led by Rabbi Zev, which emphasize and celebrate community and familial achievements. * Adult Education. Come to the Hebrew reading crash course or attend one of their popular guest lectures. There's something for every adult learner at the Chabad Jewish Community Center. * Children & Youth.
