In CRU’s Cosmetology program, you’ll learn the best techniques for washing, cutting, coloring and styling hair from our REDKEN trained instructors. Students also receive training about skin care and extensive make-up artistry application. Barbering students receive the most comprehensive training in the field. Students learn shaving, clipper-art and trimming of men’s hair, beards and mustaches, as well as cutting and styling men’s hair. You’ll learn sanitation, sterilization and safety practices as well as cutting edge styling skills from our professionally trained instructors. Barbering students are trained using LAYRITE products exclusively in all of our barbering classes. CRU Esthetician students receive extensive training from Dermalogica trained instructors and training in Makeup Artistry. CRU Institute is the only vocational school offering this one of a kind esthetician course. With our Unique Cosmetology to Barbering Crossover Program, Cosmetologist’s can take an additional 400 hours of training to learn the skills necessary to become licensed in Barbering.
