Estelle & Alfonso's utilizes the performing arts as a vehicle to increase self-esteem, creativity, fitness, mental and physical health, and coordination. Classes emphasize development of correct technique, coordination, poise, movement vocabulary, and physical and metal discipline. The student's personal achievement level is our primary focus. This training and care that our students receive within the center will provide them with confidence and communication skills that will be invaluable throughout their lives. Estelle and Alfonso have trained more professional dancers than all other local studios combined. Estelle & Alfonso's is Dutchess County Performing Arts Center for dance for the beginning through professional dancer. Adult and teen classes are instructed by renown New York and Hollywood instructors who train today's leading dancers. We have classes in Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop, Turns, Jumps, Movement for Actors, Zumba and Salsa. We also have a professional dance program with studio rentals. Estelle & Alfonso performers have appeared in Broadway shows, Radio City Music Hall, TV commercials and movies. They have entertained at Eisenhower Hall with the 52-piece United States Military Concert Band; at Worlds Fairs in Tennessee, Canada, New York, and Spain. They have been seen on national television shows, soap operas, ballet festivals, in the Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade, in the Orange Bowl Half-time Show, Sugar Bowl Half-time Show, Army Half-time Show, Disney World, Epcot, and for Royal Caribbean Cruise Line and Carnival Cruise Line.
