Ridgefield students will have the opportunity to showcase their knowledge and skills twice a year, during the school’s two annual performances. Each December, the school presents The Nutcracker Ballet. A full-length, classical ballet is chosen for the year-end performance; past performances include Cinderella, The Sleeping Beauty Ballet, Swan Lake, and Coppelia. The Ridgefield School of Dance offers lessons in two bright, airy, contemporary studios where students can focus fully on the techniques and styles of the dance classes. Fred Astaire is a franchised dance studio and has been teaching students to dance using their award-winning curriculum since 1947.
