Since 1980, when we opened our doors, we knew that this was going to be a great experience for all involved with our dance company. The Turning Pointe School of Performing Arts is designed to help all of our students achieve their own personal goals. We have a 9100 square foot dance studio to accommodate all of our clients. Having one of the most prestigious facilities in the area is what we focus on and we continue to provide excellence for our students. Let us tell you a little bit more about our studio, including the amazing sounds systems, lighting, and viewing windows. Each room is equipped with all of the above, as well as walls of mirrors. This allows for our students to see and watch themselves in order to get a 360 view of their posture and leaps. Whatever dance module they follow, this allows for a complete learning experience. The Turning Pointe School of Performing Arts offers voice & music lessons. There are two rooms especially designed for this modality. Each room is equipped to handle private lessons as well as large or small groups of singers. The elite music staff is lead by some of Detroit’s finest musical professionals. Our musical leaders have a background in performance and theory. Not all of our students have the same needs or are on the same path and that is why we provide such a wide array of classes including fitness and boot camp classes. We cater to all age groups from tiny ones to adults, we are all inclusive here. Whether you have experience in the dance or music industry, we have something for everyone, men and women, boys and girls.
