Dr. Craig Alexander was born and raised in the Chicago Suburb of Mt. Prospect, Illinois. He and his wife Ann keep busy by raising their three teenage children. From 1978-1986 Dr. Alexander attended the University of Iowa in Iowa City where he became the first student at the University of Iowa to attain simultaneous Dental and Law degrees. In 1986 he and Dr. Bevan opened Olathe Family Dentistry, P.A. Dr. Alexander chose the Kansas City area because it was a large metropolitan area with a small town feel. He enjoys getting to know his patients and values the relationships he has established with them. He feels privileged for the opportunity to provide superior dental care for his patients, their children and now, in many cases, their grandchildren. Dr. Alexander attends numerous continuing education courses and is dedicated to keeping abreast of the latest in dental innovations. When he’s not working Dr. Alexander enjoys family and outdoor activities such as camping, fly fishing and tying flies, travelling and home improvement projects. Dr. Jon Bevan was born and raised in Iowa. He and his wife Ann enjoy gardening and spending time raising their daughter Alexis. In 1986 Dr. Bevan graduated from the University Of Iowa College Of Dentistry and has been providing excellent dental care for the past 26 years. It is very important to him that his patients remain comfortable while getting the treatment they need. For this reason, Dr. Bevan maintains a Level 1 Anesthesia Permit for sedation dentistry. Giving back is very important to Dr. Bevan and he is actively involved in local charities such as the Olathe District Schools Community Development program which provides local under privileged children with much needed dental care. In addition, he also coordinates and participates in annual medical mission trips to Central America and is responsible for implementing fluoride programs in other foreign countries.
