Diabetes Support Group of CT is a support group of diabetics, their family and friends: supporting each other. We are a group of people dedicated to supporting our members who have diabetes or are at risk of developing diabetes. Some of us even have pets with diabetes. We understand that managing diabetes is not always easy. There are many aspects to juggle. We provide each other emotional support, encouragement, and compassion—WITHOUT JUDGEMENT. We educate each other about the disease, its complications, and the ever-changing latest research and technology. We respectfully discuss alternative therapies and debunk myths. The more we know about diabetes, the better we understand our bodies and how to manage the disease in order to live the best and healthiest lives we can.
