I am the owner and sole practitioner of "Peaceful Warriors". I am a "Warriors At Ease" certified trauma-sensitive meditation teacher, as well as, a S.E.E.D. (Simple Easy Every Day) certified meditation teacher through the McLean Meditation Institute in Sedona, Arizona. The S.E.E.D. program has certified me to offer meditation in a way that is suitable and accessible for all people, including children, to learn how to reduce stress and live a healthier, more balanced life. It truly is an accessible skill that is not reserved for a rare few. I specialize in trauma-sensitive meditation, with advanced training and certification in military combat stress, trauma, post-traumatic stress, and resiliency. I come from a military family and have over 8 years of volunteer experience with our wounded and active-duty troops at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey. I am also a "Reflections of Light" Reiki II practitioner offering energy work sessions to help people reduce the impact of stress and strain on the body. My personal history of trauma and post-traumatic stress has led to the recognition and awareness of a growing need to help others develop the tools needed to reclaim the land within their own souls through the practices of meditation and energy work. Meditation and energy work are two modalities that have helped to attain a sense of balance, connectedness, and improved physical, mental, and emotional health. Dr. Gail Zimmerman is a Board Certified Internist trained at Columbia School of Physicians and Surgeons and New York Presbyterian Hospital. She specializes in Preventive Internal Medicine, Menopause Counseling, and Weight Management. She also provides Urgent Care services and dematological care including skin cancer diagnosis and removal, botox and fillers.
