Logan native, son of a coal miner and the first in his family to become a dentist; Dr. Alan K. Vance graduated from West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 1981. Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Vance became a full time professor at West Virginia University School of Dentistry in the Department of Removable and Fixed Prosthodontics. Dr. Vance practiced in Washington, D.C. in a large group practice before opening his own private offices in Charleston and Williamson, WV. Dr. Vance attends local and national dental conferences to get the best possible continuing education and training in order to offer the highest level of patient care and dentistry in a relaxing and friendly environment.
