About Dr. Marc R. Tomlinson I grew up in the San Francisco Bay area in scenic Martinez. Both my parents were educators. I attended U.C. Davis where I earned a B.S. in Zoology. I was a varsity distance runner at UCD and earned NCAA Division ll “All American” honors in both Cross Country and Track before injury waylaid me. I married my wonderful wife Suzanne while a senior in college. I entered UCSF Dental School in 1972. I was a good student and really enjoyed my Dental School years. After graduation, I spent 2 years in a Dental Residency in the Galveston Texas Public Health Service Hospital rotating through the various dental specialties with an emphasis on Oral Surgery. Suzanne and I returned to the West Coast to serve, as repayment for the training, in the Public Health service clinic in Taholah for 2 ½ years before starting my practice in Aberdeen.
