The physicians also treat patients’ health problems which may prevent them from athletic participation or engagement in an active lifestyle. Sean R. Convery, MD and H. Dusty Rhodes, DO lead the team at Premier Sports Medicine. Dr. Convery has served as the Head Team Physician for the University of Dayton since 2000 and also as Medical Director of Sports Medicine for Miami Valley Hospital. Dr. Rhodes has served as a staff physician and Coordinator of Education and Research for the Miami Valley Hospital Sports Medicine Center. He is also a team physician for both the University of Dayton and Springboro High School. Premier Sports Medicine also has an athletic trainer who assists Dr. Convery and Dr. Rhodes with patient care. Kim McManus, ATC, AT is certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association and is licensed as an Athletic Trainer by the state of Ohio.
