History Established in 1993 In 1993, The Proud Company opened its doors in Pleasant Hills, Pennsylvania with hopes of providing manufacturers, utility companies, and other industrial technology users with the best industrial automation solutions for their specific needs. Over the years, the company has gained the respect and loyalty of leading technology-based companies in the metro Pittsburgh area and has been able to expand, taking on a number of highly respected product lines -- such as Cognex, Moxa, Parker Hannifin, Mitsubishi Electric, and Citect by Schneider Electric -- and growing their staff of experienced industry experts. Today, The Proud Company is located in an 8,000 square foot suite of Bursca Business Park in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania, and employs a staff of 14 professionals, including application engineers, a sales team, marketing specialists, inside sales, and internal operations.
