Want to get ahead in your career, but need more education? The Center for Adult Learning provides accelerated bachelor’s degrees and educational programs that are tailored to busy professionals. In 2007, in order to respond to the needs of the Bloomington-Normal community and working adults, the Accelerated Bridge to Education (ABE) Program was added to Lincoln College – Normal. The hybrid format of the ABE program allows non-traditional students to earn their degree while working full time. ABE students attend 1 class at a time - 1 night a week - for 5 weeks with the remaining coursework completed online, and are able to earn up to 27 credit hours throughout the calendar year. The ABE program provides a convenient way for students already in the workforce to continue their education. Some advantages to enrolling include: · A program designed around you, with the ability to step-in and step-out when necessary · Dedicated faculty who understand the pressure of working and attending college · A variety of payment plans · Tutors available during evening hours · An advisor to guide you through the entire accelerated program · Bachelor degrees in Business, Liberal Arts, Health Services Administration, Criminal Justice Studies, Entrepreneurship, or Organizational Leadership.
