Founded in June of 2009 by multi-sport trained athlete, personal trainer, certified holistic nutrition coach and chef Tommaso L. Sanna, Oak Park Fitness is a full service lifestyle company. Headquartered in Oak Park, 9 miles out side Chicago. Tommaso and his team of fitness professionals offer personal training services at home, office or gym, total body makeovers, wellness workshops, Pilates, sport-specific training and race preparation for a first 5k as well as for marathons and triathlons. His fast fat-loss programs come with results and satisfaction guaranteed. Originally from Italy, Tommaso has had a lifelong passion for food. It all began in the summer of 1982 in his Sardinian grandmother's kitchen, where his mother found him spreading tomato paste on pieces of bread to complete his first panini. Later his family traveled to Spain, where his palate was influenced by Spanish gastronomy and his taste buds experienced the best of Paellas. Before coming to the United States in 1990, Tommaso spent the summer in Sardinia, Piedmont, Marbella, Valencia and Madrid. In 2002, Tommaso graduated from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition as an holistic health practitioner and whole foods chef. Among other things, his culinary repertoire includes the science of bulk cooking, which affords him nutritional insights into the development of nutritious recipes and food combinations. Today, Tommaso spends his time as a personal trainer and private chef. Whether in your kitchen or his, his purpose is to share the art of cooking naturally.
