More than 120 years ago, the Olson family began a tradition of quality funeral care. A tradition forged in respect, dignity and compassion for those we serve. On February 1, 1888, the Olson family first moved to Rockford and Nels Olson began working as a full time director. Of his fours sons, Only Fred C. Olson Sr. remained in the funeral establishment. In 1935, Fred C. Olson Jr. joined the business, and in 1968, Bruce W. Olson joined the business followed by his son Scott in 2001. A funeral is a time to reflect upon and honor a life that has been lived. It is a time for friends and loved ones to remember.
