Babione Funeral Home was established in East Boca Raton, Florida in 1964 by community leader Robert J. Babione, Sr. and his business partner. In 1976, Mr. Babione and his wife, Helen, took sole ownership of the business and proceeded to make renovations. In 1991, a second location was opened to serve families living in the western portion of Boca Raton and surrounding areas. Kraeer Mason Funeral Home and Cremation Center was founded by funeral director R. Jay Kraeer in 1952. We purchased a new funeral home in May 2009 in the beautiful city of Tamarac, Florida. The new building has a unique structure and the capacity to accommodate more than 150 people comfortably with an easy access lobby, chapel and restrooms. The parking lot has the capability to park more than 50 vehicles with easy access to main roadways and major Fort Lauderdale and Tamarac highways. R. Jay Kraeer began with a commitment to a high standard of service, and throughout our history we have continued to lead and innovate in our community while maintaining those high standards of service.
