I am a clinical psychologist with a private practice in Omaha, Nebraska, as well as a satellite clinic in Plattsmouth*. I treat a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, addictions, grieving, and men's issues. I generally work with clients age 12 and older. About half of my practice involves couples counseling; I also do parent training. I have had extensive experience working with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and dual diagnoses (addictions and mental health issues). My approach to therapy is eclectic, including cognitive and brief psychodynamic therapy as well as training in coping skills and communication. I have also had extensive experience in psychological assessments and cognitive testing. For those who so desire, I am happy to incorporate Christian concerns in my therapy approach, although I have ample training and experience in secular approaches. I am currently accepting new clients and accept most insurances. *My Plattsmouth office is a satellite office of Catholic Social Services, and open Thursdays only.
