When Esther Price first learned fudge making in her 7th grade Home Economics class, she had no idea that her passion for chocolate would grow into the most sought after candy in Ohio. Her venture selling chocolates to doctor’s offices and co-workers at a downtown department store blossomed for 30 years as a home business to help her family before the opening of her first store in 1956 on Wayne Avenue, Dayton Ohio. The rest has become local legend and history! We still follow Esther’s traditions and recipes using only the finest premium chocolate, locally produced milk, butter, and fancy grade nuts for the fresh difference you can still taste today.
