Iowa-Illinois Taylor Insulation (IITI) has been your Eastern Iowa/Western Illinois neighbor for over 48 years. In that time, we’ve continued to grow as a result of our shared values and strong commitment to service. When we started our business, insulation was often considered an option, but the needs of our communities and buildings have changed. Today, insulation is a mission-critical function of any structure. It helps keep the people who use our buildings comfortable and it makes today’s buildings among the most energy efficient and cost effective ever built. We plan every project to last a lifetime. That’s because we plan to stand behind every project we complete. We take our work seriously and refuse to cut corners because we know the real value in a job well done. And we’re proud to have a list of repeat customers who agree and repeatedly chose IITI for their mechanical system and insulation needs. Iowa Illinois Taylor Insulation, as it exists today, is the product of a merger that occurred in 2000. Prior to that merger the two halves of the company existed as Iowa Illinois Thermal Insulation of Davenport, IA and Taylor Insulation Company of Rock Island, IL. Ironically both companies were originally formed in 1963 and existed as competitors, each with a solid reputation of quality and performance until the merger. As we merged the companies, we were looking for a new tag line - a phrase to simply describe what we felt our mission was. We decided on “Partnering for Energy’s Future”. “Partnering” hinted to the fact that we had just partnered our companies. More importantly, it described our philosophy on business relationships. We truly do feel we are partnering with our customers in order to help them achieve energy efficient building and mechanical insulation systems. “Energy’s Future” is a nod to the large amount of power and steam production sites that we provide services for, and suggested that it is in everyone’s best interest to do all we can to reduce our energy consumption. Taking that philosophy forward, we have established four offices in key cities within Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois, making us easily accessible to companies and homes in the region. We’ve developed these locations and our quality staff by being in business for over 48 years. As we’ve said before – insulation isn’t something that is up for negotiation any longer.
