The Story of Terra Momo... It all started with Teresa... our mother, Teresa Azario Momo, was born in Bergamo, Italy and our father, Raul Momo Marmonti, in Chile. Our family came to the United States in 1960 and in the mid-1970's, Teresa and Raul opened an Italian specialty food store — the very first Teresa. That's where we both learned about dedication and passion for fresh food and warm service. When not in school, we worked alongside our parents, learning how to cook in the tradition and heritage of our ancestors. Our love of food led us back to our roots, and in 1982 we opened Teresa II, the first restaurant in the Terra Momo group. We went on to create exciting dining experiences spanning different cultures: Teresa Ristorante, Teresa Caffe, Mediterra, Witherspoon Bread Company, and the latest, Eno Terra, a wine bar & restaurant. Terra Momo will continue to offer you even more dining experiences in the future with the common theme of earth, food, wine and life. While the flavors and themes of our dining experiences vary — from Italian to Pan Latino to Mediterranean — they all share the Terra Momo vision of quality, creativity and service. Tre Piani Restaurant has been in business since 1998 in The Princeton Forrestal Village. The restaurant opened to acclaimed reviews under the direction of Chef Jim Weaver. He has over 20 years experience and is working on all aspects of the business to create the finest dining and banquet facility that area has to offer. Tre Piani means three floors in Italian. The first floor has a large outdoor patio area and an indoor bistro with a thirty foot soaring ceiling decorated with fresh plants, French-style doors and a full service bar. The second floor fine dining room offers a plush setting for more formal dining and business meeting. The third floor seats up to 100 guests for all types of banquets and parties. The restaurant offers a lunch menu Monday through Friday from 11:30 – 2:30. In the evenings our dinner menu is available Monday through Saturday from 5:00. The restaurant is available on Sundays for private functions. The menus feature fresh local foods and Italian specialties. Tre Piani works closely with local farmers and fishermen to make sure that the food is always at the peak of freshness and in season. There is also an award winning wine list with over 75 selections and a full bar that stocks all of your favorite beers, spirits, port wines, scotch and cordials. The facility is also perfect place to plan your next party. Weddings, rehearsal dinners, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, all social and corporate functions can be accommodated for up to 300 guests. We have a wide variety of menus to choose from and special menus can custom tailored to suit your every need. The restaurant is conveniently located in The Princeton Forrestal Village just off US 1, behind the Westin Hotel.
