Stone Interiors fabricates granite, marble and other natural stone for countertops, fireplaces and custom specialty projects. We also are the distributor/sales agent for several imported natural stone, porcelain tile and decorative listello factories. Stone Interiors began operation in July of 1997. The owners have over 30 years experience in granite fabrication and the flooring distribution business. The original facility started with 7,000 square feet and seven employees. Today, we have grown to 41,000 square feet, over 75 employees and have completed construction on our new facility in the Columbia, South Carolina area. The rapid expansion of our company is attributed to the growing fashion for natural stone and our commitment to provide a quality product with exceptional service. Importing, fabricating and installing over 200,000 square feet of natural stone slabs annually mandates a facility that operates six days a week with two shifts of fabricators. The production facility is equipped with the most modern machinery and highly skilled fabricators and installers. The majority of our fabrication and installation is residential kitchen countertops. Other areas of our expertise are bathroom products and fireplaces. In addition to residential fabrication, we also provide products and services for condominiums and other light commercial buildings. Our state of the art tile distribution center was completed in 2001 and we inventory over 300,000 square feet of material. In addition to being a service center for our distributors throughout the southeast, we also are the distributor/sales agent for several imported natural stone, porcelain tile and decorative listello factories.
