Dr. Christy Walker is a board certified gynecologic surgeon and fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is also a fellowship trained cosmetic surgeon. She is also an accredited Associate of the Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Institute of America and is the first physician to offer Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation in Arkansas. Dr. Walker received her degree in biology with minor in chemistry from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. There she graduated summa cum laude and was a recipient of the Chancellors Medallion. The award is given to graduates with the highest grade point average in their academic school. Dr. Walker then went on to receive her Doctorate of Medicine and complete her residency training at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Dr. Walker has always been a compassionate physician dedicated to improving women’s health through individualized attention in a private, caring and professional atmosphere. She has served the community through healthcare for almost a decade as Medical Director of Walker Healthcare For Women. She has also served as a member of the UAMS teaching faculty and clinical instructor. It was this dedication that led Dr. Walker to pursue additional training with specialists in the field of cosmetic surgery in New Jersey, Scottsdale, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas throughout her career. In December 2013, she was invited to join one of eighteen cosmetic surgery fellowships in the country with world-renowned cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Jim English. During her training she also was afforded the opportunity to work with other leaders in the field of plastic surgery throughout the country. She is especially pleased to have worked with Dr. Suzanne Yee and Dr. Rhys Branman, leaders in Cosmetic Surgery in Arkansas and Dr. Tony Mangubat, world renowned cosmetic surgeon in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Christy Walker is a caring physician who recognizes that a woman’s health and beauty are often intertwined.
