Fred Aiese, LCSW is located in the greater New York City area and is proud to offer his services to Brooklyn, Queens, Westchester, Manhattan and more. Fred Aiese, LCSW specializes in working with people from culturally diverse backgrounds whose life challenges have become too difficult to handle on their own. His specialties include therapy for individuals, couples, family or group therapies especially from diverse backgrounds or the LGBTQ communities, as well as parents and their latency-aged children. Mr. Aiese also caters to adolescents or adults who have under gone psychological trauma in their lives or have a substance abuse problem. Fred Aiese, LCSW is a graduate of Fordham University where he received his Master’s Degree in Social Work with a post-graduate psychoanalytic certification from PPSC. He’s held several clinical and administration positions during his career. He worked as a social worker at the Jewish Childcare Association and as a program manager at Gilda’s Club New York City. Gilda is an organization that helps build social and emotional support for men, women and children with cancer and their families and friends, too. He now holds more than 10 years of experience in psychotherapy and has his own practice where he helps patients take positive steps in the right direction to bettering their health and lives. Although there is a cultural stigma about therapy, there is nothing wrong with seeking help. If you had a broken leg, you would go to the doctor, right? Or if one of your friends or family members were suffering from a high fever, you would urge them to seek immediate medical attention, wouldn’t you? We go to the doctor when we are sick or when something in our body hurts, it’s only right that we seek the same kind of help when the challenges of life have become too difficult to deal with on our own. You should seek help if you are having difficulty getting out of bed, sleeping too much or too little, have a hard time motivating yourself to get the day rolling, have a lot of doubts in yourself, go days at a time depressed, you feel chronically tired with zero energy, and are bored or restless. Give professional therapy a try, and call Fred Aiese today to schedule an appointment or to learn more about how he can help you.
