RICHARD R. STOUT, MD is an ophthalmologist with over 25 years experience who has performed more than 12,000 major eye surgeries. Dr. Stout graduated with high honors and a B.S. from Michigan State University. He received his M.D. from Hahnemann Medical School in Philadelphia receiving honors in medicine, and completed his specialty training at the University of Pennsylvania and Tulane University receiving the O'Brien Award for outstanding performance and research. Dr. Stout is certified by both The American Academy of Ophthalmology and The American Board of Eye Surgery. He is one of approximately 15 ophthalmic surgeons in New York State to be certified by The American Board of Eye Surgery and is currently the only eye surgeon certified in the greater Finger Lakes area.
