Welcome to Farm and City Dog Training! Owner Vicki Brook has owned and trained an array of dogs from Beaucerons, Havanese, and working stock dogs to Norwegian Elkhounds. On top of a lifetime of dog ownership and working with many other species, Vicki worked at the Buhl Animal Shelter for several years and ran her own Pet Services business. This inspired her to own her own training business someday. Since 2010, she has been a 4-H leader. Since 2002, Vicki has studied with NADOI-certified instructors at Good Neighbor Dog Training . She has also recently trained with Lorraine Paglini and Marti Kincaid for AKC Competition Obedience, Rally, and Agility. Through this experience she earned four AKC titles on two dogs in 2013 – the Canine Good Citizen and Rally Novice titles on her Havanese, “Jolie”, and her Norwegian Elkhound, “Colbert”. She was certified as a Dog Obedience Trainer/Instructor by the PennFoster Career School i n 2009 . Vicki participates in the many online discussion groups to spread her knowledge. She continues to expand her education to help the owner-dog companionship. Our services include: ♦ Private Lessons • Farm and City Dog Training will work one on one with your dog! This is a great class if your dog is not ready for group class. We currently offer 4 private lessons for only $99! ♦ Pet Manners Training • This is a class concentrating on the basic obedience every pet needs to have. ♦ Board and Train • Drop your dog off at Farm and City Dog Training for two weeks to a month. In that time, your dog will get individualized training from us to get your dog to its best behavior. ♦ In-Home Training (House Calls) • With our In-Home Training service, we work with your dog on individual problems at your home. ♦ Group Training • Group Training involves approximately 5-6 dogs.
